Well after pulling up the floors we were a little worried that that these two rooms would always look like two rooms due to the paneling and little ¼ wall. So.. we asked are friendly neighborhood contractor to take a look and he is currently tearing the room to the studs…

When he is done we should have a real rectangular room (about 18X14) with new drywall waiting for the new oak floors which are scheduled to go in 12 days from now…
